TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Individuals can apply directly for The Impact Awards, as well as be nominated by others.
Entry to The Impact Awards is free.
Applicants must be aged between 16 and 30 (inclusive) at the time of the awards evening, 31st July 2021.
All entrants must be either a (a) New Zealand citizen, (b) permanent resident or (c) valid visa holder with New Zealand being your main country of residence (minimum of 183 days a year) for the last 3 years or more.
Applicants must have lived in New Zealand for at least two years prior to application. However, people currently residing outside of New Zealand temporarily due to work or study commitments are still eligible to enter.
Awards cannot be granted posthumously.
Judges will consider the applicants achievements and contributions over the calendar year, as well as their achievements and contributions over a longer period of time.
Applications may only be made through the official application form submitted online.
All current national and local government politicians may be considered for Awards.
Applications or nominations for community groups, couples, committees etc. will not be accepted. Individuals within these groups may apply themselves based on their individual achievements and merits within and/or outside of this group.
Unsuccessful applicants may re-apply in subsequent years.
The team at Inspiring Stories reserves the right to enter applicants in additional award categories as deemed appropriate. Every effort will be made to inform applicants and nominees of this.
It is permissible to contact the team at Inspiring Stories for guidance and support during the compilation of applicants.
All nomination information and material submitted remains the property of Inspiring Stories and will not be returned unless previously arranged.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree that Inspiring Stories, the organisation responsible for The Impact Awards, can send you correspondence from time to time. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
Applicants will be encouraged to make themselves available without cost for publicity purposes as required prior to and after the The Awards Ceremony.
Applicants agree to allow the use of their application information for publicity purposes. No contact information will be released by The Impact Awards without express permission.
Those selected as finalists will be required to attend The Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday 31st July 2021 in Wellington, with exact details to be confirmed closer to the time.
The Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Applications received after the confirmed, public deadline will not be processed.
